The NEPTUNUS project has been presented to high school students in two workshops during the Science Week of the University of Cantabria (UC). This time, we received students (4ºESO to 2º Bachillerato) from the IES Fuente Fresnedo (Laredo).
The workshop involved the interaction with students in order to answer questions such as “What is sustainability and carbon footprint?” or “How does climate change affect fisheries and aquaculture?”. Besides, a case study about the life cycle assessment of the Cantabrian anchovy was presented. The students discovered which is the most ecofriendly anchovy product regarding the packaging (tin, plastic or glass) and surprising reactions were found. Do you want to know more? Contact us!
