NEPTUNUS PARTNERSHIP
NEPTUNUS PARTNERS
The NEPTUNUS Project requires the coordination of several partners, which will provide a holistic approach to address seafood policies to local and global needs. The participation of eleven partners located within seven different Atlantic Area regions of five different Member States supplies the Project with part and material resources and the knowhow of different teams.
The UC is one of the universities in Spain with the strongest tradition and has the accreditation of Campus of International Excellence by the Spanish Ministry of Education. The DePRO group of the UC is leader in Life Cycle Assessment tools, materials and circular economy, and sustainable waste management.
Role in NEPTUNUS Project
Lead partner
The UC will be the leader and coordinator of the NEPTUNUS project, and they will highly contribute to the project communication and capitalisation. They will foster resource efficiency and will be the link to the Cantabrian regional actors for transference of results to industry and public administrations.
