7 – 12 November 2021

The University of Cantabria has organised the event Week of Science #SemanaCienciaUC. Celebrated every year, Science Week 2021 took place from the 7th – 14th of November. This event highlights the important role of science in society and the need to engage the wider public in debates on emerging scientific issues. It also underlines the importance and relevance of science in our daily lives. With climate change becoming a serious threat to the lives of billions of people and the planet, in 2021 the celebration highlighted the importance of “building climate-ready communities”.

Within the framework of the Week of Science, last 12th of November, Ana Fernandez and Cristina Campos prepared an online activity with the primary school Colegio Cisneros, in Santander (Spain), to present the NEPTUNUS Project to their teachers and students. The participation in scientific dissemination activities is a key opportunity to link science more closely with society.
