The University of Cantabria, lead partner of NEPTUNUS project, attended to the Basque Ecodesign Meeting (BEM 2020), held in the Euskalduna Conference Center of Bilbao, on 26-28th February.
Over the course of two days dedicated to companies and industry, scientists María Margallo, Jara Laso and Israel Ruiz participated in this biannual conference focused on topics such as planned and perceived obsolescence, ecodesign, innovation, circular economy, green industry 4.0 or environmental product declarations, among others.
The 2020 edition of the BEM gather specialists in industrial product design from all over Europe to analyse the implications that the transition towards a circular economic model will have for industry in Europe and to debate the business opportunities and improvements in business competitiveness that this model offers.
